Spring Organ Recital at Hinde Street Methodist Church

Make your May more melodic with an afternoon of organ music in the historic chapel of Hinde Street Methodist Church.

On the 12th of May at 12:15pm enjoy a 45-50 minutes of classical music, played on Hinde Street’s superb three-manual pipe organ. Admission is free, and we welcome any contributions to our collection during the recital. Cake and refreshments will be served following the event.

The recital will be given by Alexander Evans, the Director of Music and Organist at Hinde Street Methodist Church. Alexander is currently in his final year studying Organ with David Graham and Charles Andrews at the Royal College of Music.

Joesef Rheinberger — Sonata no. 16 in G-sharp minor (1839 – 1901)
Max Reger —  Benedictus, Op 59,9 (19 March 1873 – 11 May 1916)
Messiaen — La Nativité: – IX. Dieu parmi nous (1908 – 1992)
