Mandy Zhang Art was founded by Gallery Director Mandy Jieyi Zhang in 2022. From its inception, the gallery has focused on emerging Asian artists in the hopes of platforming the voices of the Asian diaspora in London.

The gallery saw its first exhibitions take place in Mandy’s own apartment, which hosted a rotating programme of solo and group shows, performances, and panel discussions. In April 2024 Mandy Zhang Art opened a permanent gallery space in Marylebone, and the gallery begun participating in international art fairs across New York, Paris, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Mandy Zhang Art stands as a testament to the rich Asian cultures, bridging the gap between East and West.The gallery’s program delves into themes of ethnicity, cultural decolonization, and care, reflecting its commitment to interrogate and challenge conventional narratives. We offer a platform for dialogue and understanding, supporting artists who push the boundaries of their practices.

The team also provides art and curatorial consultancy.
